Alessandra Conte (she/her) is an Italian actress, writer, director, and editor currently based in Treviso, Italy.
She has a Bachelor’s degree in foreign languages, and other than Italian speaks English and Spanish. In January, Conte will be graduating with an MA in Contemporary Performance with distinction at Liverpool Hope University.
She has acted in the short films directed by Nicolò Grasso Astra Inclinant (2021) and My Choice (2022). For the latter, she won the Best Actress in a Short Film award at the Sofia Art Film Awards and the film was given the Best One Actress Short at the Avalonia Festival of Short Films. She has experience as a production assistant both in music videos and short films. She was also one of the lead performers in Izzie Major’s show funded by Arts Council England CURTAINS CURTAINS CURTAINS CURTAINS CURTAINS which was part of the Angel Field Festival in Liverpool.
She has completed her second short film Passing Through, which she has directed, and recently filmed in Venice the queer short film Phantom Touch, directed by Nicolò Grasso.
